Au Cheval Blanc — Restaurant in Strasbourg

We had an amazing dinner here. The waiter spoke French and German but was very patient with me fumbling through my French as a native English speaker. You must try the Tarte Flambeé if you're fortunate enough to go on a Friday or Saturday. We tried the normale version (the first option on the menu) and it was amazing. This place will not disappoint and is a hidden gem of the city.

We went and had a marvelous time. You can choose this restaurant in confidence. Pleasant, relaxed atmosphere without music and great food. Restaurant "familial" d'habitués Probablement un des derniers bastions d'une époque révolue. Cadre chaleureux dans une ambiance "vieille Alsace". Nappes à carreaux et ustensiles d'un autre âge accrochés aux murs. Mobilier à l'avenant. Le temps semble s'y écouler plus lentement et l'on se prend facilement à oublier que la la ville a finalement rattrapé Neudorf.
