O'Poulet Braisé — Restaurant in Strasbourg

I want to start off by saying WOW! What a gem! This is a small (by small I say 15 seats) treasure in a quiet neighborhood that must be exposed for their outstanding food! I was very surprised. The young men that were there working tonight (December 21) were extremely hospitable, engaging, kind, humorous, friendly and welcoming. They explained the menu and dishes to us, as French is not our native language. We are in our third country of our European vacation, our first night in France and this was by far the best meal we have eaten out of them all!! The rice with the creamed mushroom gravy was on point!! The chicken was so good with its well seasoned crispy baked skin that I thought my momma had gone back in the kitchen to make it. Nickel ! J’ai pris un menu demi-poulet (pour moi tout seul). Frites très bonnes (je n’ai pas testé le riz), boisson, et un demi-poulet « tel quel » qui a été braisé. Nous avons commandé avec des amies, verdict : les frites sont très bonnes !! le fondant au chocolat est bon MAIS il faudrait prévenir qu'il est accompagné de crème anglaise :) les Nuggets sont pas mal mais pour un resto spécial poulet je m'attendais à mieux et le gros bémol : toutes très déçues des burgers qui n'ont pas vraiment de goût..
