Great little restaurant located in the town of Thionville , tucked away in the quiet alleys.

Menu is small but direct to the point which is exactly what I prefer in restaurants. Few items that are done very well and consistent.

Started off with a nice cocktail well prepared and lightly garnished . We were offered an amuse-bouche to start of the meal . Veloute of beef with small pieces of beef : delicious . For main course I chose the stuffed veal with mushroom sauce and hints of bacon , which was accompanied by a vegetable truffled gratin. Both were outstanding with red wine from the Rhône it paired and balanced very nicely .

Desert menu we decided to try something completely unique and different : carrot veloute with subtle tones of citrus paired with roasted pair & a gingerbread cookie on top . Very special desert : not too sweet which was a great end to the meal .

Service is great and both waiters worked well together to make sure our table had everything we needed .

Parking will need to be done outside the alley across the street where there is city parking available.

Make reservations in advance as it seemed to be busy even on a weeknight ! Definitely will come back to this place next time I am in...

Absolutely excellent meal, with great wines recommended by the house (at sensible prices). The welcome, sevice and food were all top notch. The price is right for the quality. The food selection is all very appetising and interesting, which makes it difficult to choose! We visited on a Thursday night in February, and were lucky to get a table for two - so book in advance because this restaurant is obviously very popular with the locals. If you like excellent French food at an affordable price, do not hesitate...

This restaurant is located on a quiet street near the center of Thionville. The staff are nice and helpful. They have a choice of all kinds of delicious dishes with something for everyone.
