Parc Napoléon — Attraction in Thionville

Turned up without a booking, no problem. The chap booking us in was really lovely. Spoke English. We didn't have any euros so he let us go to the cash point and pay later or the next day. The parking bays are very private. Lots of hedges around. Yes there is a bit of noise from the surrounding areas but not really a problem. Facilities are adequate. Please see photos. Nice walk around the park next door which is being refurbished so parts of it are not open but looks very very pretty. Walk along the waterside. Perfect for one night. Stop over two adults. No charge for a dog less than €20...

Bravo to the city of Thionville for creating such a beautiful park. I've been staying in the campsite next to the park and it's always full of children with parents, young couples, people reading, and citizens walking their dogs. I've walked through this park several times on different days and it's always clean. So lovely that it is frequented by so many. Definitely an asset...
