Owner was hesitant about us getting prams in the establishment after we asked of we could bring them in...even though there's a play area upstairs. Not a good start. But we forgot this and had a LOVELY sit, chat, food, drink and play with small baby and toddler. Service by male waiter was lovely, punctual and very friendly. Food and drink was great! Then the whole first experience here was ruined by the attitude of a young-ish female waitress. She ended the visit by asking with a rude, abrupt tone if we'd played with toys, and if so, to tidy them! Fair enough, but it was the way she approached this. Especially as there are signs saying this EVERYWHERE, so we had already tidied and even played with our own toys as didn't want baby to pick up any germs. We arrived to a messy play space, and had left if better than arrival, and another family and their boys were now also playing. The other family agreed that her attitude was rude and approached us to confirm this. Sad end to our first visit to a local destination. We won't be back and will tell all parents in school to avoid.
