Domaine Skiable et VTT Les Gets — Attraction in Thonon-les-Bains

The lifty left me and a few friends stranded at the top of mont Chery bubble, as we arrived at the point de mont chery skilift. We was parked at col d'encranaz and wouldn't allow us on lift to get back home even though there was people on the chairs still. Had to walk to the top of mont Chery in the dark with an incoming storm, with strong winds. I have asthma and one of my friends was carrying an injured little toe so he was struggling to walk, we had to make a stretcher out of skis and drag him up so he could Also make it home. Luckily we all survived I don't know how. Definitely do not recommend, very unfriendly lift staff using the excuse the pistes were closed. By time we got to top they were still in a state to descend. Wouldn't happen in Morzine or avoriaz. Would recommend staying over in other resorts if you are after friendly staff and lifts that are comfy and work well, which actually allow you...

Je pense que votre staff au niveau des remontées devrait revoir leurs manières de se comporter avec les clients. Je me présente avec un Snowscoot au télésiege côté Chavannes, arrivé a l'embarquement, on me braille que c'est interdit (mais la personne qui m'a dit ça n'avait pas l'air d'être sûre d'elle et demande à ses collègues). Moi même ne comprenant pas ce qu'il se passe, l'operateur commence a me bloquer physiquement l'accès au télésiege, à me tutoyer et m'econduire en dehors de la remontée en me prenant mon engin par le guidon alors que j'étais dessus et en me parlant comme à un gamin de 15 ans à qui on refuse l'entrée en boite de nuit. Merci monsieur, mais j'ai 32 ans et je viens de faire plusieurs heures de route pour être là, un minimum de respect et de pédagogie n'auraient tué personne même si j'étais dans mon tort. Si l'operateur m'avait simplement et calmement expliqué comment je peux faire plutôt que de me gueuler dessus devant tout le monde comme à un animal, le message serait bien mieux passé.Et c'est dommage car pour le reste du domaine (côté Mont-Chery),...

Best if you’d go in december or januari because the area has a low altitude. Because of this you can ski between the trees which is very charming.
