This is a brilliant place to come as a family who have kids. Ours (4, 5 and 7) had a blast and didn’t want to leave. It’s a bit unclear what facilities are here when you look online but there is:
A small lake with two inflatable floating obstacle courses, plus an area for swimming, and an area for using things like boats and paddle boards A splash zone with sprinklers and water guns next to the lake A large playground with swings, climbing walls, fort, slide etc above the lake near the restaurant A restaurant selling very good freshly made salads, baguettes, scoop ice cream, ice lollies, alcoholic drinks and soft drinks. I’m sure they sell hot food as well but we only went in for ice lollies so didn’t see. A water flume going down the side of the hill and coming out in a little pool if it’s own behind the lake (it’s slow and suitable for young children) A multi bed trampoline that is €3 for 15 mins per child A pump track suitable for kids A car park Three toilets in a temporary block
The larger inflatable course on the lake is for people 120cm+ and costs €8 per 45 mins, and the smaller one is for 4-8 year olds and costs less I think it was around €5 for 45 mins. A parent can join their kid(s) for free on the smaller course to supervise but will need to pay for their own ticket on the larger course. Both courses are brilliant fun and the water wasn’t too cold even for my three kids.
Its €4 to use the lake and to be able to sit inside the large corded off area which also has the flume, splash zone and toilets in it. Outside of the zone is the restaurant, playground, pump track, trampolines, and car park. You don’t have to pay the €4 entrance fee to use any of these.
The whole set up looks beautiful and is really fun. I don’t agree with charging €4 to use the lake and feel the money needed for its maintenance should be funded either through the local council or via the pay-for activities at the site. It seems very strange to charge people for using a natural feature of the mountains especially when there’s other charges to pay ontop.
If there is going to be a charge then there needs to be a better toilet block (it was quite dirty and there was a long queue). And there also needs to be shade available around the lake. The only shade near to the lake are the trees inbetween the lake and the car park, next to the inflatable area. The entire other side is completely open, as are the trampolines and the kids playground. During the summer the heat is too much for an entire day in the sun with no cover especially for children.
There is a pebble beach around the edge of the lake with lots of large rocks in it which all the kids were playing with like sand, building their own mini lakes and rivers with the stones. also lots of crickets in the grass below the trampoline area which my children spent a good hour catching and...
