Amorino — Restaurant in Toulon

Icecream is expensive but nice, we tried 2 times in Bandol and once in Cassis, but the last time.....the owner helped us with ordering (he is about 60 years old) and let me pay for 6 icecreams (3 with 2 scoops, 3 with 3 scoops) 42 euros!!! I payed for friends, and realised later that is was for too much (but with friends...). The last icecream was the overpriced one. I didnt get a bill, but the servant did, and he wondered about my 2 flavors (I could have more he said??), I reposted that I maybe paid to much??? But than came the owner again, and said something to the servant about that (not for my ears), and the servant gave me one very big ice with 2 flavours.... I should have gone back, as this was not ordered, but I didn`t. But watch out for this "trick"as you pay much to much with this...

Nice location right next to the port and next to all the shopping. They offer both indoor and outside seating. The coffee is excellent as well as their many flavors of Italian Gelato, which they carve into a nice flower shape if you get it in a cone! The staff is very helpful and friendly and many speak English. It can get very crowded during the high tourist season in July and August. The one big downside is that they are closed during the winter months. This is a shame since they serve hot drinks which can be enjoyed at least on nice weather weekends...

Difficile …

La dame qui est à priori à la caisse, ne montre pas son meilleur coté. Madame, oui vous êtes un glacier, et oui la plupart des glaciers travaille avec des boules. Ainsi lorsque que vos clients voudrait avoir 3 parfums, il serait peu être plus ingénieu de votre part de conseiller la taille du cône ou bien du pot. Prix exorbitant mais produit bon. Dans ce Amorino il n‘y a absolument pas de service, malgrès les possibilités de s‘installer en terasse tout comme à l‘intérieur. Ici des chaînes de Fast food commencant par un M et ayant pourtant meilleur réputation que Amorino fait mieux …

Et le comble. Après avoir consommé de glace, et un espresso glacé (café froid, avec de la chantilly) pour EUR 20.00, ne vous attendez surtout pas à aller aux toilettes. À priori les toilettes sont noyé, et il n‘y a ainsi, pas de possibilité pour les clients d‘aller aux sanitaires … la dessus le personnel travaillant pour vous me font de la peine. Devoir travailler toute la journée avec vous, et en plus ne pas pouvoir aller au toilette, car elles sont inondés.

Bref il semble clair que je ne viendrais plus dans votre local, je suis un Suisse, qui vient régulièrement dans le sud de la france, et ce faisait pourtant toujours un plaisir de déguster les différents bon produits de Amorino.
