Asian Street Toulon — Restaurant in Toulon

Great place to grab a quick bite with nice employees and better food!

I was looking for a banh mi place and found this spot. When we arrived we were a bit confused because were expecting a restaurant but this is even better. It's basically a small food stand with some tables on the streets. I love places like this because this is where you get the best food usually. We're always checking out Vietnamese restaurants wherever we go and this one is one of the best we were.

The menu is very small which is a good thing. You can choose from a bowl of rice, bun (rice vermicelli) or banh mi and then add your favorite type of meat. They have marinated beef, lemongrass chicken and shrimps. We took a chicken banh mi, one summer roll and bun bo (beef). Best choices ever! The food was prepared fresh, the portions very good and the taste was better than in some restaurants we were. Prices are awesome for what you get. My banh mi was as long as my underarm!!!

The guys working there were also super nice and even though we don't speak French and they don't speak English, we never had any issues communicating with them. If you're ever there, give these young guys a chance because...

Went in and ordered two rice bowls and some spring rolls, both the guys were so so nice, our French is very bad but their English were both very good! The wait for our food was slightly longer than expected but they had lots of orders, but due to the wait the guys gave us a free drink of our choice. Then we took our food and left, but we forgot a bag and one of them came running down the street and gave it to us! They were so so lovely and the food was amazing- especially the spring rolls and beef...

As the name suggests, they serve very good Asian street food options which feels healthy too 😋it is more of a take away place but the quality of food is very good! They have limited options, which is always a good sign! We tried the Thai bowl and it was amazing!
