This is our new happy place (at least during our 3 weeks vacation). We visited the restaurant several times for lunch as well as for breakfast during our vacation. The food is delicious, service more than exquisite and the scenery is divine. Prices are quite reasonable considering the excellent quality and scenery. Usually the offer of the day is quite a good choice and you cannot go wrong with the house wine either. I appreciate that they serve kids first, quite quickly after ordering, which is a relieve for hungry children - and for us as well with 3 kids đ
I donât understand why people are complaining about the fact that you need a reservation during summer period and peak lunch time which is usually around 12:30. I think this is simply the sign of the great quality and shows how great the place is. If you want to go, just call 1-2 days ahead and youâll be in a place of heaven. OphĂ©lie, la serveuse qui sâoccupait de notre table, a pris la commande peu aprĂšs notre arrivĂ©e. Ă 13h15, mis Ă part le vin et les boissons, nous attendions encore. Craignant que notre commande ait Ă©tĂ© oubliĂ©e, nous avons demandĂ© des nouvelles et lâon nous a rĂ©pondu que les plats arrivaient.
Ă 13h30, nous avons fait remarquer que dâautres tables arrivĂ©es aprĂšs nous Ă©taient dĂ©jĂ servies. La rĂ©ponse a Ă©tĂ© quâils avaient choisi des plats froids. Une rĂ©ponse pas trĂšs courtoise si lâon considĂšre que nous-mĂȘmes avions commandĂ© deux des mĂȘmes plats qui venaient dâĂȘtre servis Ă la table voisine. Finalement, Ă 13h50, nos assiettes sont arrivĂ©es. Seule OphĂ©lie sâest excusĂ©e, mais ce nâĂ©tait pas de sa responsabilitĂ©. Aucun geste de courtoisie nâa Ă©tĂ© proposĂ© par la direction du restaurant, ni pendant lâattente, ni au moment de lâaddition. Pas dâexcuse, pas mĂȘme un sourire.
Concernant les plats, la salade de poulpe Ă©tait bonne mais trop chargĂ©e en ail. Quant aux coquilles Saint-Jacques avec garniture de riz, il sâagissait en rĂ©alitĂ© dâun simple risotto avec trois coquilles posĂ©es dessus.
En conclusion, une expĂ©rience malheureusement pas positive, probablement due Ă un restaurant trop plein et Ă une gestion de cuisine insuffisante.
