Do you like pizza 🍕? I do. A lot. But... I don't eat cheese 🧀... so my choice of pizza is very limited. 😔 When I was a kid and my mom took me to a pizzeria, I used to have... meat 🥩! See, in the south of France 🇫🇷, pizzerias don't only sell pizza. And, most of all, the pizza they sell is not exactly an Italian 🇮🇹 pizza. The dough is not exactly the same and the toppings are different. That is "traditionally", cause nowadays you can also find Italian pizza, which was not the case when I was a kid. Near where I used to live as a kid, there's a pizzeria called Chez Mico where I had both meat and pizza. Why? Cause they sold a sweet pizza, topped with apple 🍎. Soooo good! 😋 I recently went back to that restaurant, dreaming of that sweet pizza but... I didn't order it. 😅 And I didn't order it because they have a new one, topped with banana 🍌 this time. And it's also very very good, even though I think they could add some more banana. 👍 But since I'm not a kid anymore, I also ordered a pizza as a main. On that pizza, no cheese of course, but a lot of capers, very few anchovies, a few olives... and tomato, of course. And that was disappointing. TBH, too many capers, too few anchovies, baq quality olives and the tomato sauce was just tomato. The dough was correct but a bit chewy. 🫤 The place itself has changed a lot. Now they have a huge new room on top of the old one but... it doesn't look at all like the rest of the place. The main room has a lot of charm, this new one, not at all. 👎 And we were in that new room. The service was kind of slow but the server was very nice. We paid €20 each. That's ok for France but that would be crazy expensive for Italy (I mention Italy because it's the country of pizza, of course). Not exactly what I expected. I kinda miss the old days. 😔

Quality & taste: 6/10 Quantities: 8/10 Atmosphere: 5/10 Originality: 7/10 Ratio price / quality: 7/10 Service: 7/10 How I felt...

I was in this restaurant with three friends, we ordered two pizza and a 'tagliatelle with seafood'. Neither of us could finish his plate. One pizza (the one with goat cheese) was super greasy, the other (vesuvio) had an inch of toppings which made it simply not eatable and for both the dough was not good. A pizza should be made with good dough and few simple ingredients, modest in quantity, as topping, no need to overdo. The tagliatelle were overcooked and the seafood was clearly a frozen mix which has been thrown in the pan few minutes earlier, quite sad for a place that could get fresh fish/seafood locally for less than the frozen stuff.

The apetizer (mussels) was good, probably this one was not frozen, and the service nice, but yet I would not reccomend the place even if the food was free. Can't wrap my head around the enormous amount of...

Amazing place, this is our second visit to Sanary and the second time we have come here and the food is still amazing, even 1 year apart. Will always recommend this little gem in this amazing town and can't wait to come back again in September
