I recently had brunch at Barricot and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The service was warm and attentive from the moment we arrived, and the staff handled the busy Sunday rush with calm and professionalism. The buffet offers a generous spread—plenty of sweet and savory options, and the presentation is beautiful. Not everything blew me away taste-wise, but the variety was impressive and you’ll definitely leave full.

One thing I would mention, though: the price. We were a bit surprised to find out it was €37 per person only at the end of the meal. It would be helpful to have this clearly displayed or mentioned upfront, just so guests can make an informed decision. Discrimination ! Foreigners and young parents beware! Seeing as several people on the terrace having only coffee and drinks without eating, we asked if we could have a coffee. The two waitress inside kindly proposed us to take our seats, but the only man (he acted like an important figure) seeing us with a stroller and noticing my foreign accent, rudely sent us away, refusing to serve us coffee. When we asked why the other costumers got served, he said because they gathered for a reunion that's why they can have drinks. It is rare to find such rude attitude towards foreigners in Toulouse but...

Barricot was honestly a huge disappointment. The food was bland, overcooked, and the so-called “buffet à volonté” had almost no variety. Most of the hot dishes tasted like they’d been sitting there for hours, and the balance between sweet and savory was terrible way too many desserts, barely any proper meals. For the price they charge, it’s absolutely not worth it. You can find way better brunch spots in Toulouse for less money and with actual quality.
