Went there three times in my short stay in Toulouse. That should tell you everything you need to know! The place is full with working crowds at lunch time, so it's better to book a table. Evenings are much quieter. Staff is very friendly and they recognize you ! In the evenings, I had twice the best "Salade gourmande" complete with gésiers, magrets fumés and a generous slice of freshly home-made foie gras. At lunch I had one of their burgers, Le Montagnard, (the mountaineer) with fries. It would sustain you for almost 24 hours! Desserts are divine, especially their reconstruction of "pain perdu" (French toast) with an orange-blossom based cream.

After reading the majority good reviews of this restaurant, I decided to give it a try. The staff were indeed friendly and helpful. But to my disappointment, I ordered the traditional duck casserole and it was still COLD inside when they brought the food. Somehow this left me an impression that the ingredients were taken from the freezer and they just heated it up...... I told the waiter that is was still cold inside, he took the dish off (no apologies) and after 5 mins, the same bowl, but heated up, was presented on my table. In the end, there is no apologies nor discount given.

We came here hoping to get good food in a place with kids menus. "Check" on the kids menus, these were the best part of the meal and at a reasonable price (9.8 Euro, the website says 8.8 Euro). The other good part was the service: pleasant, quick, knowledgeable, satisfying. The not-so-good part was the food: salad had some sand in it (not washed enough), the"vegetarian burger" turned out to be a bun with vegetables - for 15.50 Euro! Definitely the low point. The...
