L’agra — Restaurant in Toulouse

Server seemed to have a failed stand-up comedy career and ended up as a waiter. Hahah! Kidding aside, he serves you dry humour and occasionally makes fun of the customers like he did to us.

Place is like a restaurant done in the 80’s, but I do appreciate the extra touches on the design and decor. They tried to put a majestic touch to the place. The dim lighting is a good touch. And it’s handicap friendly, has a ramp for wheelchair as the floor is elevated.

Food is your average Indian cuisine. Curry is about 11€ to 13€ for chicken, Lamb and Seafood around 15€. The sauce was good. It’s not bad if you are craving for Indian food but nothing special here. You will come out with your belly full and maybe with some laughs...

Extremely rude owner. We ordered vegetarian thali and was told we will get mix vegetable sabji. But what we got was a tasteless brinjal and tomato curry. Dal was tasteless. When we complained about it to the manager the manager offered us a complimentary dish but then the owner came to us and started shouting at us, took our plate away while we were eating and asked us to get out of the restaurant. This place doesn’t deserve to be open. I would not at all recommend people to go to this place unless they provide good taste and quality food and the owner fixes...

No matter how well your business is running, the moment you start disrespecting your customers you are not far from a great downfall. This place is not serving authentic indian food as promised and customers are not served what they order. On complaining, the owner becomes aggressive, mistreats his customers. Contradictory from the other reviews and ratings given to this place.
