The general concept and idea behind it is good, but the place definitely needs major improvements: First of all the fact that they didn't have a maps page is absurd as there was no visual indicator of an opening day and the hours/days right now are blocked by an inflatable Santa ( wich should be removed, it just clashes with the style of the restaurant...) Starting from the atmosphere, the place is quite nice, well kept and generally pretty, but it does have some elements that are not perfect like the choice of lighting... That said the major offense was the kpop at fairly high volume that was just too distracting and simply didn't fit with the ambience of the place itself; where instead I would expect maybe some nice Korean jazz, of which there is lots and of incredibly high quality, and it doesn't have random screams that make you drop your noodles in the spicy broth that then splashes on your face. That said, going on: the servers where quite nice and the general level of service was higher than the norm ( since here in France it's generally quite bad...), but I would still like for them to actually raise their voice a little since it was difficult to hear what they were saying. The menu itself is a bit of a miss too, because unless you know exactly what every plate is, you are probably going to have at least a bit of a surprise because it just doesn't describe what the food is, at least not that well ( example: I didn't expect to have spam, wurstels and industrial hamburger-like cheese in a noodle soup... That was kinda jarring ), so I would definitely ask them to improve it. Now for the worst: the food. Firstly: the food was quite bland and the flavours were completely masked by the condiments: the chicken was overpowered by the sauce, the noodles made with a soy sauce as a base ( Jajangmeon ) didn't taste like anything and the Rameom, as someone that didn't know exactly what it was, was terrible ( the menu says that it's noodles with vegetables and a spicy or not spicy broth, that's it. BUT THERE WAS SPAM, WURSTELS, CHEESE, AN EGG, MUSHROOMS, quite differing from the menu description. And the only thing about all of this was the server saying that "there is meat it the plate", which is an understatement ). Lastly: the wait. The entrée came after the main dishes, wich is again absurd. The entrée should be a plate that can be prepared in five minutes to then be served as early as possible to not let the customers wait, instead here we waited for thirty minutes to have a ( very small ) plate of overpriced chicken, which wasn't that special at all. All in all, the concept is good, but the execution is unfortunately a bit if a mess. I genuinely hope...
