The food was delicious. We had the oysters, the Steak Tartare and Caesar Salad. Everything was delicious and the kitchen worked very hard to make superb food. What let things down was the service. It was a Friday evening and I think the owners had asked their mother (possibly grand mother) to help out with front of house. Right from the start, we felt rushed. She had dropped the menus and walked away before we were even sat. The drinks and food order was taken very brusquely, bordering on rude. The main course arrived very quickly after the starters and wasn't really given a chance to order some more wine. Then, after the main was cleared, she told us she needed the table for another group and needed us to move to an adjacent table. Whilst we enjoyed dessert and considered coffee and a digestive, no one came to make use of our old table. We paid our bill and expressed our unhappiness at being moved for no reason. She appeared uninterested and more intent in getting us out of the restaurant than listening to us. A great shame, as the kitchen produced such good food, but the service left a bad taste...
   Read moreThe food was delicious. I really enjoyed the mussels in cream sauce â very flavorful. Unfortunately, the French fries served with them were a letdown: soft and lacking taste. The kidsâ menu was a nice surprise, offering a boiled chicken breast and a generous portion of grilled vegetables.
However, the service was disappointing. We waited 50 minutes from being seated to receiving our food, despite there being 5 or 6 servers and our order being quite standard and seasonal. The cutlery we were given was also dirty, which was off-putting.
The total cost for two adults (with cider) and one child meal...

Nous avons bien mangĂ© mais câest sĂ»rement le seul point positif comme nous avons pu le dire lors de notre passage en caisse hier soir. Nous avions rĂ©servĂ© pour 7 personnes pour un anniversaire. Lors de la prise de rĂ©servation par tĂ©lĂ©phone on nous avait dit quâĂ 21h30 il faudrait libĂ©rer la table car un groupe arriverait Ă 21h30, jusquâici aucun problĂšme nous Ă©tions au courant. Mais une fois sur place, dĂšs notre arrivĂ©e et tout au long du service on nous a rappelĂ© de nous dĂ©pĂȘcher pour manger car le groupe arriverait Ă 21h15 finalement donc vraiment pas cool ! Et au final Ă Ă peine 21h on nous a demandĂ© de libĂ©rer la table car le groupe avait de lâavance ! MĂȘme pas le temps de finir nos verres, de prendre un dessert ou un cafĂ© on nous a clairement foutues dehors ! Nous avons donc dĂ» aller prendre un dessert dans un autre restaurant ! Inadmissible.. dans ce cas il ne fallait pas accepter notre rĂ©servation et on aurait pu profiter de notre repas dâanniversaire tranquillement dans un autre restaurant. Pas du tout commerçant car nous ne consommions sĂ»rement pas autant que le groupe mais nous consommions aussi ⊠la table de deux Ă cĂŽtĂ© de nous a eu le droit Ă la mĂȘme chose et a dĂ» libĂ©rer sa table aussi en catastrophe pour y installer le groupe arrivĂ© en avance. Et je ne vous parle pas du « patron » qui criait sur ses salariĂ©s devant les clients !...
