Doddy's Coffee — Restaurant in Versailles

If i put only three stars it’s for the food. It was my 1st time going there, I picked it because it looked like the places I used to go when living in the US. So it was really cool for that, really felt like I was back their 👍🏽👍🏽. The choices on the menu are large. We ordered some guacamole as appetizers, they advertise on the menu that their products are fresh but you could tell it was from a box and tortilla chips were of low quality. I love guacamole and make it often and you can easily make the difference between fresh and industrial ones. Burger was decent, asked for very well done and it was barely well done. I liked their cocktail menu, large choice of them. I went their around lunch time, but I’m sure you can have a fun time with friends during happy hours, cool place to hang out... you don’t really go their for the food, no bad but not...

I tried their cheese burger , its a 50-50 love and hate . A plus for cheese and the caramelized onion but the meat patty was bland no seasoning ( a burger is not a bland steak haché it even had no salt nothing when u eat it alone its tasteless ) . The fries were crispy and oily with a very oily after taste as if fried many times with the same oil . Fries portion is generous did not finish it . The coleslaw had a weird aftertaste of vinegar and not tasty and not close of a real coleslaw ( tiny portion ). The ipa beer draft was refreshing. So my overall food experience was disappointing. We found this restaurant by chance during our stay in Vélizy for a work seminar (in Paris, France). We loved the welcome and the service we received. A huge thank you to the manager on duty, Reno. It's a shame he didn't give me his number, but the service we received speaks volumes about his restaurant. Good luck and keep it up!
