Hotel Darchi Kazbegi — Hotel in Stepantsminda

My boyfriend and I stayed at Hotel Darchi and had the best time. The owner and staff were so kind and generous, going out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.

The room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. But the breakfast was definitely our highlight! It’s homemade, generous portions and absolutely delicious.

We did not stay in the hotel but only went for a dinner as recommended by owner of our B&B. The decoration is nice but the food is average. The fried calamari rings are good but there are only 6 rings in total at 15GEL. The homemade potato with pork is OK but there are only 7 small cubes of pork, and the BBQ chicken is saltless and again, 7 small cubes...Maybe we ordered the wrong dishes but anyway, it doesn't seem they are generous, considering the price of 23/25 GEL per dish...

Hotel is excellent! 10/10 recommend a stay here. They may be slightly higher priced than others in the area, but worth the spend. The hotel is very modern, the beds are the most comfortable I’ve slept in in Georgia, rooms are spacious, and the service is impeccable. Wake up to some beautiful views!
