Little Italy d'amore — Restaurant in Amberg

Lovely little place in the city centre of Amberg, which served good pasta, pizza and very good bruschetta & salads. Was in Little Italy for my sister’s cozy wedding celebration. The owner is very chill and accommodating - letting us decorate the place as early as we wanted. They had extra staff during the event and also specifically a lovely lady who could converse very well in English, to help with the bigger crowd at the same time, without the hosts asking for these specifically - that was very thoughtful. And to top it off, both the desserts- tiramisu (non-alcoholic) and panna cota, were so good!! Last but not the least, the team was kind to let us have the place as long as we wanted (which was way past midnight - and I understand they generally close by 10 or latest midnight)! The whole team from Little Italy went all out for the whole celebration to be a great one for the hosts and guests - thank you very much! Solid local eatery serving up yummy pizzas with friendly staff at a decent prize. 7/10 would come back. Quirky but spacious interior atmosphere with cozy wooden furniture and has ample outside patio seating. My wife's simple salad was well plated. Menus have English even if staff's is limited. Park where you can, possible right in front (could see my car from my table). Quiet and sat right away mid-week. Water served in a carafe...standard would be unopened or open bottle in front of guests if paying for it, but I drink tap water...

Nice little italian place downtown Amberg, the decor is stylish, wooden tables and chairs, nice ambiance, very good, super friendly and accommodating service! The tomato soup was excellent, it had freshly grated parmesan cheese as a garnish and aas wonderful, so was the carpaccio, super tender meat, great presentation. The tagliatelle with scampi, cherry tomatoes in a curry cream sauce had a lot of scampi just wasn't my favourite but I still recommend this place. Will be back ...
