There will be some offerings that are typically offered at Italian eateries in the US that are notably absent here. The pizza is very true-to-Italy in form and that is to say that many Americans may find it too far from their norm to be satisfied. That said, the food at TR is good and is as authentic as possible (for being in Germany), and the portions fair. My only real complaint was the very lackadaisical service. Man, this place is pretty amazing. If someone tells you to meet them in an Italian place that's under a tattoo parlor, DO IT! This place is really good. I've had the pizza (a few different kinds), the lasagna special, and the tomato soup. They are all very tasty and are a great value for the price.

If there was one thing that I would change is the lack of cell signal in the restaurant. And there is no free WiFi either. I wouldn't care much about this if I wasnt on travel most times I come here so I am usually eating alone. Would be great to have service to...

Extremely disappointed. I was told by so many people that this place was "the place" to go for authentic Italian food. We've spent several vacations in Napoli, Capri and recently Roma and the food at this restaurant was bland. The tomatoes on the bruschetta tasted like they were from a can. My husband's dish with mussels had tons of broken bits of mussel shells throughout it. My toninelli bolognese had minimal meat, soupy and just bland. Not sure if we will return.
