Thai-Restaurant Rainbow Garden — Restaurant in Böblingen

!!!BEWARE!!! Been eating here for a little over a year now, and tonight was no typical night. My wife and I usually enjoy this place since it's near our house and we like to indulge in some decent Thai food since it is also a bit pricey. But after working overtime today, all we wanted to do was eat a warm meal. Unfortunately, tonight as you see, we were served a RAW chicken. I can’t pronounce the name of the dish but all I remember was it was #55 on the menu for curry chicken.

After telling the waiter and one of the bar tender (since we sat next to the bar), they looked over and also realized that the chicken served to us was RAW! We were offered an apology and that was about it. One of the lady also offered us some coffee, but at this point, all I can hope for is to not have a food poisoning.

Lastly, once we got our check, you would think that a barely touched plate of raw chicken curry would be deducted or discounted but nope! To my surprise, we still had to pay everything. For a papaya salad, chicken curry, and shrimp curry for the price of $67.

Please, beware and always look at your food...

Shrinkflation. Why? WHY did you have to go and reduce your takeout packaging size? I have been coming here for years and really enjoyed the food for value. I have been paying more and more attention to companies reducing their product size while keeping prices the same. I go away for three months and lo and behold - their 3528 cm³ styrofoam takeaway container is now a 1200 cm³ aluminum foil container. So roughly a reduction of 66%! Even being generous and saying the styrofoam container wasn't stuffed to the brim, and the aluminum one was, that's still well over 50% less food for the same price. We're all going to go broke if we continue to let restaurants and companies gouge our wallets. Unless Thai-Rainbow goes back to the old portion size, I'm done being a customer, and...

This was our second time in this restaurant, first time being three years ago. I really did not like the food the first time (it was very salty and greasy), but I thought and there seemed to be a lot of space to accommodate lots of guests. as quick and friendly, nothing crazy polite but ot rude. Just ok. Food came out quick, prices were t my curry (green) was mediocre. I love curry and this one had good amount which I liked, but the color was such a strange shade of green that it looked unappetizing. Portions were also good. One thing I thought was a big minus was the fact that you had to take lots of narrow, round stairs to get to.
