What I liked This place offers a great experience with traditional German cuisine. The menu is solid, with a wide variety of dishes, drinks, wines, and liquors. Everything we ordered was full of flavor and nicely presented.
The outdoor terrace is spacious, perfect for warm days, and the indoor seating has a cozy wooden interior that must be especially nice during winter. The service was good, and we were lucky to get a table right away, even though the place is usually very busy.
Portions are generous. I was very hungry that day, and still had trouble finishing my plate. The food was delicious overall.

It's basically a restaurant built inside the world's largest wine barrel (although it was never actually filled with wine). The restaurant part inside the barrel is usually only open during Wurstmarkt, but the side building is open the year round. Food was great, but somewhat pricier than other places around. You pay a bit for the flair of the barrel, I guess. Service could be a bit quicker, but were...
