Power Sushi — Restaurant in Bad Vilbel

One of very few good and fresh for the price sushi.

We ordered the lachs party platter, few sushi plates and a beef roll for delivery, so I cannot comment on the atmosphere of the restaurant. But the delivery was made on a Saturday evening.

The lachs party platter was fresh and very good for the price. My fiancée whi is a fan of Ebi sushi had said it had a nice crunch to it and was fresh. Had some tobiko sushi and perhaps that was the only item that wasn't smelling too fresh, a bit fishy with artificial crunch. I would recommend changing the supplier for the tobiko sushi. (-1 Star for this*) The rice could use a little more sushi vinegar but it was cooked just right instead of many of other competitors who end up cooking the rice with too much or too less water.

The staff was friendly over the phone, and the delivery arrived promptly at about 20 minutes, and for 2 couples spending just under 40 euros, we couldn't finish all the food we ordered.

I highly recommend this place for casual cravings for affordable but fulfilling sushi dinner to be delivered right to your door.

• update: we stopped by for a take out while we were in the city, and the owner noticed us assuring that he is taking care about the lack of freshness of the tobiko gunkan sushi to the supplier. I ordered some sashimi with maguro tuna, and it was very fresh and tasty when it is very difficult to encounter a sushi place in Germany with nice fresh maguro. The sushi rice was perfect this time and I've added +1 star for a sushi place that is working very hard for perfection. The take out process was friendly and very quick (it was done in less than 30 min while we finished our shopping in the city) I will definitely be back for that tobiko when I am in town next...

Had low expectations for sushi in Bad Vilbel and I can say this place is way better than I ever could have imagined. Es ist nicht nur das beste Sushi in der ganzen Umgebung, dort arbeiten auch die nettesten Menschen die mir in meiner Gastrokarriere begegnet sind! Unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend! Das Arbeitsklima ist unschlagbar. Das Gemüse ist immer frisch und hat die perfekte reife (denke dabei vor allem an sie Avocados)! Einfach alles ist lecker und liebevoll kreiert das merkt man! Die Auswahl ist sehr vielfältig und es gibt tolle vegane Möglichkeiten! Meine Topempfehlungen sind einmal der spinat mit so einer baba Soße, die unbeschreiblich gut schmeckt und die Vorspeise zu einem highlight macht! Außerdem die ecoroll eine spezialroll, die einfach eine perfekt abgestimmte Komposition ist. Die Mischung aus u.a. Paprika, Avocado, rukola und röstzwiebeln ist eine perfekt zusammenpassende, die eine einzelne Rolle zu einem Erlebnis macht und verschieden Konsistenzen verbindet und sie so besonders macht!
