Lobbybar Schloss Bensberg — Restaurant in Bergisch Gladbach

We spent a Monday afternoon at the Schloss Bensberg lobby bar for afternoon tea. While the service was excellent and the tea selection was great we would have expected a slightly better food offering for the price of EUR 29 per person. The finger sandwiches were average and the scones lacked its traditional texture, i.e. it tasted more like a bread than a proper biscuit. The worst part of the experience however was the fact that the disabled toilet, albeit being large and light, was not accessible without help and that we had to physically remove a lot of storage items to get to it in the first place even though a removal had been requested earlier with reception.
