Forget your typical zoo / theme park food (hotdogs, hamburgers, etc.). This is the place you MUST go at the zoo! Seating indoors and outdoors. Ask for the patio in the back. Beautiful greenery and waterfall. Very atmospheric. The staff is excellent. Lily was our server. Professional, polite, efficient and very friendly. Oh... something. Start with a specialty cocktail, beer or glass of wine. Then dive into some cheesy garlic bread before you try one of the non - typical entrees. Our table the seared ahi, thick cut BLT and pastrami sandwich. Everything was cooked to perfection. Basically, if you are looking for large quantities of food (not necessarily quality), this place is for you. I went to the Sunday brunch and honestly we would consider (from an American standpoint) this a Chinese buffet. For 13.50 you get all you can eat choices from bacon to lasgna and everything in between. Honestly it wasn't exactly what I was looking for in Berlin but the experience was worth the money. Staff is really kind. They don't speak much English except one gentleman. Definitely a local place as it was full of elderly people and American gospel renditions sang in the key of German man in Las Vegas show. Wir (meine Frau, meine kleine Tochter und ich) waren heute im Albert's frühstücken. Ich war lange nicht mehr da. Der Umbau während Corona ist wirklich gelungen. Die neuen Möbel sehen super aus und schaffen eine gemütliche Atmosphäre. Meine Frau geht ab und zu mit einer Freundin ins Albert's und ist jedes mal sehr zufrieden. Wir riefen früh um 9 an und bestellten einen Tisch zu 10 Uhr. Die Bedienungen sind super freundlich. Die Preise sind corona- und rezensionsbedingt absolut im Durchschnitt und angemessen. Zudem sind die Portionen reichlich. Beispiele: -Albert's Frühstück (großer Teller mit Wurst, Käse, Gurken, Tomaten, Aufstrich, 2 Brötchen und ein leckeres Omelette natur) Preis: 11,90 € -Vegetarisches Frühstück (ähnlich nur ohne Wurst dafür mediterran angehaucht mit Grillgemüse u. ä.) 11,90 € -Pancakes für die Kleine (7 kleine Runde auf einem Holzspieß) mit viel Obst drumherum 7,90 € -Rührei (3 Eier) 3,90 € Auf Extrawünsche wird eingegangen (ich mag keinen Käse also bestellte ich mir Lachs dazu; Konfitüre wurde durch Nuss-Nougat Creme ersetzt) Sehr zu empfehlen sind die Lemonaden besonders die Erdbeer-Minze-Lemonade. Großes Glas (0,4l) zu 4,50€. Alles in allem waren wir bei 52 €. Ich las eine Rezension von einem Gast der 55€ zahlte und deshalb nur einen Stern vergab. Ganz ehrlich? Geh beim nächsten Mal zum Bäcker und nicht in ein Restaurant. Preis und Leistung passen perfekt zueinander. Ich gebe 4 Sterne weil alles super war aber der letzte Kick fehlte. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.
