Friendly service, quality ingredients, very affordable. If you are the type to order takeout in a hurry, they are great at handling even longer queues very efficiently. It has never taken longer than 1 minute to join the queue and have my order ready - in the mornings they have as many as 3 people taking orders at once. I highly reccomend the chicken wrap, but any of the ready made sandwiches are delicious. I now regularly pick up the very affordable and delicious croissants for sandwiches rather than buying sliced bread. They are so friendly they even belabour letting me practice ordering in german. Very much a neighborhood establishment, though I've noticed people traveling to the bakery from all over Mitte and even other neighborhoods because of the quality of the bakery. I work on my laptop from the window (which has outlets) sometimes, and they don't try to rush me out like other places do, though I highly recommend following my lead and leaving a nice tip if you're going to take up table space for a few...

I lived next to this place for 2 months this summer. It quickly became part of my daily routine (sometimes multiple times per day). The breakfasts are high quality and priced fairly. The pastries are so good with daily variety! And the sandwiches, salads, and other foods are good too. Bacco (the owner) and Melanie were particularly kind and nice to me. For sure one of the best places for breakfast I ever found. The bakery offers a big range of pastrey, sweets, coffee and options for breakfast. The portions are really big, and delicious and the prices are fair. Around 8-9 euro for a big and varied breakfast.
