Best chicken in Berlin, probably. This speciality restaurant benefits from having a tight focus on the few menu items they offer. The special sauce is a delight and even the breast of the half chicken is tender.

The two sides, potato salad and cabbage salad come in generous servings. If you go there as a couple order one of each and you won't be disappointed.

Beer and wine selection is functional if not special.

Everytime I go here I end up really full by the time I finish up my chicken so I am yet to taste any of the deserts. Selection is limited but I am sure they are delicious.

Gets crowded. So make a reservation at least the day before.

I give it a four star because waiting time for the food is sometimes too long. To their credit they warn you about this but I think their kitchen can do...

Overpriced chicken and underwhelming experience; expected more for the price than a lackluster potato salad, coleslaw, one dense piece of bread and oversalted fried chicken. Go to any Turkish or Arab place on Karl-Marx-Straße for: a. Better Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis b. Shorter wait time c. Fresh vegetables d. Chicken with actual flavor and spices

Go here if you want: a. Authentic German dining experience from the Middle Ages without having to time travel b. Crowd of geriatric Germans who stare at you if you’re not a white German over the age of 40 c. Overpriced beer and chicken that is not even organic or grown regionally d. A lack of utensils so that you are forced to rip apart the meat with your bare hands

This is not a place if you want some fast food. What’s up with this long wait? The only thing they serve is chicken 🍗 and salad 🥗.

This place is regularly full so booking a table is advisable if arriving on the weekend or evenings. The venue has a nice biergarten and a cosy indoor part.

Food tasted good and chicken had a nice crisp. It’s either served with potato or cabbage salad. So If you expecting balanced meal you should go elsewhere.

Price is a bit hyped I think 9,40 (excluding salad) for half a chicken 🐔 is the most expensive grilled chicken I have had. This is not even a bio or free range chicken. However I don’t consider this restaurant to be a rip-off.
