Bistro Liliput — Restaurant in Berlin

I was ordering the Dürüm Döner the other day and it was quite below average tasting, to say the least. Even though the employee heated the dough before and after it was wrapped, it wasn't warm at all. The dough itself tasted uncooked and obviously mass produced + low quality. Their concept seems to be greedy about the amount of salad, falafel, halloumi, and meat they put into the meal. My Dürüm was so skinny, I was shocked for a price of 6€. Didn't eat one for years and I remember they used to be huuuge, I wouldn't be able to eat them in one sitting. Unfortunately, they're much smaller here. I can understand that due to the location, they have to compensate the prices, but it wouldn't be much to ask for the food to be decent.. the salad and vegetables were fresh and I like that they added corn. If you're really hungry, ofc it'll satisfy you, but it's a rip off and I wouldn't recommend. The employee even made fun of me with his colleagues in another language bc there was a misunderstanding on the order as I didn't understand his words. Bistro Liliput at Treptower Park train station in Berlin is a great spot for a tasty meal. I had a really enjoyable experience there. The bread stood out—super fresh, with just the right amount of crunch on the outside and a soft inside. It’s definitely not your typical bread, and it was delicious.

The salad was another highlight, mostly thanks to a custom-made sauce that really brought it all together. Whatever was in it, it added a lot of flavor without being too heavy. Simple but done right.
