Fu Li Lai is definitely the little gem of Steglitz when it comes to Chinese food! I dare to say that this is even my favorite Chinese restaurant in the whole Berlin. Pick anything from their menu and you'll not be disappointed. It's tasty and seems quite authentic. We go at least once a month there, even in covid time, we manage to order something for takeaway. We just couldn't live a month without eating their food, it's REALLY THAT great!

As a spicy food lover, I get often disappointed by the level of spicyness of many Asian restaurants but in Fu Li Lai's definition of spicyness is another level. Try their Fish Soup and you'll for sure sweat! Love it!! Only when my husband asked not to have it to spicy, did they finally really make it not that spicy (my husband is a German so they probably also 'adjust' the expectation - which makes me love this personal attention that the restaurant gives you!). Last but not least, price to value is the best ever! Great and fair price for such amazing quality.

Keep up the good quality, service and everything that's so great about you guys! Unfortunately the delivery service doesn't reach my area, though I don't live that far (12161, around 2.6k from their restaurant). Therefore a shoutout for Fu Li lai: please extend your delivery reach! Your most loyal customer is waiting!! :D

I would definitely go to Fu Li Lai every day...

We had a good dining experience at Fu Li Lai, I would say one of the most authentic Chinese restaurants I’ve tried in Berlin. If you’re into bold flavors, spice, and a real taste of home-style Chinese cooking, this place is a must-visit!

we ordered:

Stir-Fried String Beans – Bursting with garlic and wok hei, beautifully blistered and flavorful.

Braised Pork Hunan Style – Deep, rich flavors with a pleasant kick of heat. The pork was melt-in-your-mouth tender.

Sautéed Beef with Celery – Light, fragrant, and comforting. Great contrast between tender beef and crunchy celery.

Chinese Burger (Rou Jia Mo) – The flaky bun and juicy pork filling were absolute perfection.

Chicken Feet dish – If you're an adventurous eater, don’t miss this one! Bit Spicy and deliciously gelatinous.

Cold Salads – A great mix of spicy, tangy, and refreshing starters that balanced the hot dishes perfectly.

The staff was friendly, efficient, and happy to guide us through the menu. The vibe is casual but cozy, and the flavors speak for themselves.

If you're looking for real Chinese flavors and not just Westernized versions, Fu Li Lai should be at the top of your Berlin food list. Can’t wait to go back and explore more...

Very authentic northern Chinese eating experience. The food and people remind me of home a lot. I ordered lamb soup noodles. Not what I typically get but they are surprisingly good. The soup is clear and not greasy. It tastes savory and peppery, and has a subtle hint of spicy taste. The choice of lamb cut is perfect, still tender after cooking and no gamy taste. The portion is generous, lots of lamb slices and a huge amount of noodles. I couldn’t finish it and the leftover can definitely last me for another meal. Handmade noodles are bouncy and filling. Can only recommend.
