City-Chicken — Restaurant in Berlin

Update: I know well that they can live without my business, but I just went to eat elsewhere after being rejected in city chicken because they don’t accept credit card payments on Sundays, lol. I was ok with it only being possible for orders over 10 €, but in 2024, to have such silly rules because it inconveniences them slightly is ridiculous.

A generally satisfying meal, delivering on almost all fronts.

The wings were well breaded, juicy and crispy, albeit a little underseasoned. The strips were nice and crispy as well, a little dry though, but that is kind of expected from chicken breast. The fries were well seasoned and fresh, but pretty soft and soggy, so that was a bit disappointing.

The price was more than resonable, as I paid I think 18 € for 9 wings, 6 chicken fillets and a big portion of fries.

I ordered grill plate with grilled beef. It was okay. But the beef was actually tasteless that you need to add more salt or dip it into garlic sauce or hummus. The portion was huge for my tummy.
