Most of the baristas here seem like they are working reluctantly, except for maybe one. Even when you pay for your drink and leave a generous tip, the coffee is often prepared carelessly, with no attention to detail or latte art. Even when the place is quiet. I feel disappointed and scammed I think the cashier charged me more than should but Im not sure.. I paid 4,40€ for "Tee" that had only few mint leaves and a piece of ginger and that's it no Tee involved.. Einstein is a fantastic brand. I lived in Berlin when the first one opened there decades ago. On this trip I was able to compare two branches. Savignyplatz was fabulous, intimate, with friendly service and free newspapers. Adenauerplatz (actually on Kurfurstendamm) had none of the above charms.
