We went for the 2-person surprise menu at Göki Kitchen, and it was such a wonderful experience! The chef, who is also the owner, welcomed us warmly and immediately asked about allergies and whether we eat meat and that i find as a thoughtful touch that made us feel well taken care of.
When the dishes arrived, they looked beautiful and inviting, and the flavors didn’t disappoint — everything was absolutely delicious! What really impressed me is how each dish feels unique and creative every time. You can tell a lot of passion and attention go into the food. The ingredients taste fresh, the portions are generous, and the combinations are surprising in the best way.
The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, and the service is genuine and kind. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re not just eating out, but being hosted by someone who truly cares about food and about people.
For me, Göki Kitchen is one of those rare spots in Berlin that delivers consistently great food with a personal touch and all at a very fair price. we will...
Read moreI came here because of the high Google ratings, and I’m so glad I trusted everyone’s recommendation. It turned out to be such a wonderful dining experience.
As soon as I walked in, the owner greeted me with a big warm smile. He was super friendly, asking what I liked, what I wanted to eat, and even keeping me updated on how long the food would take. He also showed me their entertainment lobby where people can hold parties - for free!
He kindly offered me a free cup of tea. I ordered fries and shawarma - the fries came with salad, and the shawarma even came with a banana. When he noticed I was using my laptop, he immediately came over to share the Wi-Fi password.
When it was time to pay, he even gave me a great discount. The whole place felt really cozy. It’s a little old, but it has this nostalgic charm that reminded me of the small restaurants/convenient shops from my childhood.
Such a warm and genuine place, I’ll definitely come...

Göki is a generous and large-hearted soul, whose passion it is to strike a connection and serve the people around him. Whenever you visit, his demenour is sure to improve your mood. The warm reception I got from him was the heartiest I have received in any restaurant in Germany.
From this visit, I could sense that Göki went beyond running a business. He served us much like old friendly neighbours would. While leaving this place, I instantly felt more connected to my neighbourhood.
Not many restaurants in the world make me feel this way. As you can see, this review isn't about his food, which is great (like the other reviews say). It is about an experience I had with a rare kind of person - one that I will go on to cherish for a long time.
As one other review here has decleared: Göki muss man einfach persönlich...
