My Name is Peter Kamau, a Follower of Christ Jesus, since August 2004 - He is my Lord and Saviour. I'm also a Gospel Minister/Singer/Song-writer.
About 4 Years ago, on Sunday 16th February, 2014, I visited ACB. I was visiting Berlin on a work tour. Naturally, I asked our Host to take me to Church. Although our Host is not a believer, they knew where to find the "BEST CHURCH"! When we arrived at ACB, we were warmly received and immediately felt at home.
Me being me, and yes the Minister in me sprung up and drove me to ask the Pastor In-charge for an Opportunity to Minister in song. Albeit impromptu, he made all arrangements necessary to allow my Ministery (Sung the song The Desire), which was warmly received. The whole Church Experience and reception thereafter was beautiful; The People, Conversations and Refreshments, just delightful.
Its taken me 4 years and 6 Months to finally do this - ACB, thank you so much for your Love and Hospitality... I love you and given the opportunity, I would love to Fellowship with you again. God Bless you.
Yours In...
Read moreThe origins of the church date back to about 1865, when American families met in private homes to worship. Otto March, father of the architects Walter and Werner March, planned and directed the construction of a church for the congregation between 1898 and 1903. This church building stood in the "American quarter" of Berlin-Schöneberg, on Motzstraße #6, near Nollendorfplatz.[1]
The Nollendorfplatz church was destroyed in an Allied bombing of Berlin in 1944. The congregation continued from 1945 by sharing facilities with various German churches in Berlin-Zehlendorf; for the most part in Zehlendorf's Alte Dorfkirche.

Through the world, people visits this beautiful church, the gospel choir in the church is one of my favs. The people in the church is so good, most of them have a smiling face. The glasses in the church is beautifully painted, the origami birds in the church make it more colorful and vibrant. Serving bread and wine for every service, is one of the best things I have seen for the ACB. To unite the people togethter, there are also many activites, also a small coffee and tea with snacks is good practice to make people stick together. Happy to visit the place on...
