Yummy falafel! In a pita pocket (small €3.50) or rolled up in a flatbread (large €4.50) with iceberg salad, tomatoes, and - new to me - pickles. You can choose from 5 different, tasty, and very flavorful sauces and even combine sauces. The friendly guys are working fast but will stop their routine with a smile to explain your options. At the very last second I grabbed a Fritz from the fridge pushing my check to €10.50. I sighed loud since I already had a 10 Euro bill on the counter and dreaded loocking through a pocket full of coins. The cashier looked at me and simply said: "Oh, if you don't behave the 50 cent, it's OK." Dam! That's a friendly place!! Don't forget to leave a tip, they obviously feel with the rest of us.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Amazing restaurant with delicious food and a cozy atmosphere. I had the shawarma, falafel, halloumi, and hummus, and everything was spot on. The shawarma was perfectly spiced and tender, the falafel was crispy with just the right amount of softness inside, and the grilled halloumi was simply delicious. The hummus was creamy and full of flavor—one of the best I’ve had anywhere. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Whether you're in for a quick bite or a full meal, this place never disappoints. I'll definitely be back!"

Me and my friends bought 4 falafel pitas. In one of them the falafel was missing altogether and it was just vegetables and in another one we found something very hard inside. In addition, in all of them there were ingredients that we didn't select and they told us that the sauces weren't spicy but in fact they were (in particular the mango one). Lastly, they don't speak English at all and it was really hard to communicate. Overall a very bad experience.

best kebab and falafel ive ever had. after more than 1 year of having lunch here 2-3 times a week it is still absolutely amazing.

their shawarma completely destroys any other döner or kebab ive ever tasted. and for like 4 euros!!! unbelievable. i actually dont understand how they do it. it is just sooo juuicyy and savory. could eat it forever.

and the falafel!! oh my god. perfect balance between crunchy exterior and soft insides. not dry at all. and such a warm flavour. bravo. lightyears ahead of 99% of 4 euro falafels.

but even then we havent touched on the SAUCES. oh lord jesus almightly. heavenly. all of them are just so great. some recommended combos:

garlic + spicy (classic, but dont let it fool you. humbaba garlic sauce is from another galaxy. the potency is unreal) mango + sesam (#1. simply otherwordly) mango + erdnuss (ive not tried this since i cant eat peanut but my friend says its wild)

i also hiiighly recommend adding the makali to anything you order. really great and they sometimes put a lot of it in there.

they have 2 bread options: pita and tannur. i prefer the pita but the tannur is not bad, although a bit too spongy for my taste.

ordering can be a bit messy and the quality of the rolls can vary. but once you get the hang of it its lovely. staff are...

I recently tried the Makali Shawarma at Humbaba Falafel. The shawarma itself was good, with flavorful, well-seasoned meat. The salads and vegetables were fresh and crisp, adding a nice contrast. The bread was satisfactory but not particularly distinctive. The sauces, however, were not very tasty and lacked bold flavors. Additionally, the consistency of the shawarma could be improved as the fillings were unevenly distributed. Overall, I would rate it a 4/5. But I saw other people ordering a Teller menu and it looked delicious. Maybe thats their signature dish and I would wanna try...
