Konditorei Umkalthum — Restaurant in Berlin

Finally - after so many years of trial and error, we found a place that makes sooo delicious cakes, best I have tried in Berlin! Moist, not too sweet, creamy but still light, just perfect and as we like it but could not find so far. And all this for a very fair price it is even hard to believe! The fruit tartles are also soo good, we and the guests at the birthday party were all amazed! On the third day the cake tested the best!

Also super friendly staff, fast service and easy communication. Total recommendation! Keep up...

Nie wieder Umkalthum!

Ich bin so extrem enttäuscht von dieser Konditorei! Zur babyshower Party meiner Schwester habe ich eine Torte, cupcakes und cake pops bestellt. Es sah schrecklich aus und schmeckte überhaupt nicht. Ich habe mich bei der Kommunikation mit den Mitarbeitern 2 Wochen vor dem Abholtermin klar und deutlich ausgedrückt was ich haben möchte. Ich habe ihnen per WhatsApp und auf Instagram Bilder von dem gewünschten Design geschickt und bin sogar extra vor Ort gewesen um alles genau zu besprechen aber ich wurde nur extrem enttäuscht. Das Ergebnis war eine Blamage, die ich den Gästen am liebsten vorenthalten wollte. Bei der Abholung hat uns Umkalthum mehr als eine halbe Stunde warten lassen weil sie erst zu Lidl rennen mussten um die cupcakes zu kaufen und haben dann einfach eine billig Creme draufgeklatscht weil sie meine Bestellung einfach vergessen haben.
