La Famiglia — Restaurant in Berlin

Got ripped off.

Got charged € 13,5 when I should have been charged € 7.

Ordered: One Margherita € 4,5 One glass of tap water € 0 One glass of beer € 2

First I was told how much it was without being given the receipt even if I asked for it, but I paid nonetheless.

Then I asked for it again, as the person at the cashier struggled with it I went to the toilets, as I came out the cashier had made up a new ticket that read only € 13,50 and the items were not on there.

When I stated that the information was missing, the waiter got in-between and made up another ticket for € 13,00, this time with items. However, the items read: burger and beer and something else I don't recall, nothing to do with what I had ordered.

When I confronted him, he started to say that he was lebanese, "double cheese" and what not.

Told him that what he did was not nice, I left very angry; it ruined my evening.

If you end up going there, which I would not recommend, get the "Rechnung" before paying.

PD: Pizza...

After all, the impolite waiter told us: “We don’t need you, we have enough money”. That’s the first reason we will never come back there. The other is that we were advised to order a two flavor pizza. Thus we decided that we would order the famiglia flavor (12 euros) and another half Napoli (9,50 euros) and half four seasons (9 euros). When we were to pay there was two famiglia pizzas instead of what we have ordered and eaten. We politely asked the young waiter if it wasn’t a mistake and he told us that ordering a 2 flavor pizza the price is 12 and because it’s not in the system they select the famiglia pizza flavor to charge.. we said it wasn’t told before and that it was not right. Then came the middle aged waiter to say this is what it is and that they don’t need us because they have more restaurants and a lot of money. Bottom line: they had their 3 euros difference and we will never come back. If you want a polite and trustworthy place you should not go...

CASH ONLY /NUR BAR. I think this starts the deal not so good. I had a dinner with my partner and for 2, expecting us to pay cash with the prices it's not realistic in this day and time. Waitresses were nice.

Food: 1.(score1 or 2 /5) bruschetta is not worth. Bread was so soggy, and it was just some tomato. 2. (score 4/5) vitello tonnato, it was ok it's a lot for an appetizer so be aware, it should be shared between 3 people at least. 3: Grilled Salmon, (score 4.5/5) cooked well, was nice. 4: PorkFilet filled with cheese and ham in mushroom sauce, (score 4) it was tasty, but the pork meet wasn't tender, this needed to be cooked longer.

Its not authentic Italian food, so if you go with that...
