Masala Imbiss — Restaurant in Berlin

Marhaba marhabba, from masala dosa with such nice Sambhar, pudina and other chutney and the potato filling with masala, it is just one dish that I eat when I go there one day. The next day it is Amritsari Kulcha (aka dirty naan) with chicken tikka or tandorri chicken and for my daughter it is cheese naan. With every order I match it up with Ginger tea, that is the real ginger tea with cut ginger in hot water served with honey, everything is so awesome that whenever I come in Berlin be it for 1 day or 10 I only eat here, Döner zeit ist Schön weg, because of this resturant. I may be remembring the name of the cook a bit wrong think it is Allion but forgive me if I remember it wrong.

Bottom line is if I am at home I only like to cook my own food with proper spices: real ginger, kurkuma, knoblauch, chillies that I cut myself, grind and then add at proper time on caramalized onions with koriander and jeera, but if i am not cooking at home and travelling I would...

The food was great. Very friendly personal. Clean toilet, and it was clean in the shop too.

The food was fantastic. We hat the paneer , and veggie curry dish. Which came with so many variants. Do recommend it. The spinach dish was my favourite. Naan was delicious. The salad had a nice dressing, I liked it a lot. The dal soup could have been a bit thicker, i liked that it was made fresh and not a finished paket or so.

The amount you get for your money is good. Chai tea could have been a bit sweeter, there was honey on the table to sweeten it myself. Most of it was not spicy at all. One thing was a bit spicier. All was tasty.

There is a kids seat available. In the back is another smaller room for 8 people to eat.

Such a welcome addition to the Weissensee food scene. Authentic Indian food, well priced, and excellent quality. Tandoor oven for grill and naan and the flavours are perfect.

They add in some fusion foods like naan pizzas, and burritos, which they do really well.

Best dishes are the mango chicken, and anything tikka. the teriyaki chicken is a little too heavy in the soy sauce but I like the fact that they move away from such traditional dishes nonetheless. For takeaway orders, better to call in 20mins before, so you don't get run over by a cyclist.
