Nea Olympia — Restaurant in Berlin

Tasty food, welcoming ouzo, yummy salads. We visited this restaurant with 6 friends. I was new to Greek cuisine but this restaurant exceeded all my expectations. The service was very nice. Although it's probably necessary to make a reservation before coming, the personnel quickly found a table for us. Wie waren an einem Freitag Abend zur typischen Abendessen Zeit ohne Reservierung zu zweit hier essen und sehr froh noch einen Platz zu bekommen.

Der Empfang war freundlich und schon bald folgte der Begrüßungsouzo, was uns sehr erfreute.

Die Karte ist umfangreich und auch einige vegetarische Gerichte sind vorhanden, was in diesem Umfang beim Griechen ja nicht immer der Fall ist.

Der klassische Gyros-Teller mit Zaziki, Gyros & Pommes war eine ausreichende Portion. Preis-Leistung finde ich stimmig. Mir fiel auf, dass das Gyros überhaupt nicht fettdurchzogen oder ölig ist, das spricht definitiv für das Restaurant 👌🏼

Der Service hätte vielleicht etwas aufmerksamer sein können, aber für uns war das völlig ertragbar etwas zu warten oder auf eine weitere Getränkebestellung von selbst aufmerksam zu machen.

Zum bargeldlosen Bezahlen mussten auch wir vorne zur Bar laufen, was für heutige Verhältnisse ganz easy zu ändern wäre, in dem man auf ein tragbares EC-Geräte umrüsten würde.
