Horrible customer service. I ordered a dish and wasn't given any number or receipt or anything which I immediately found a bit weird from an operations perspective in terms of tracking who ordered what. About 15 minutes later, I see the dish I ordered ready and abandoned on the pickup place so I go and ask if I should take it then the woman said no and she gave it to someone else. More than 30 minutes in, I go and ask about why my order is taking so long and they ask me about what I ordered and at that point I was like "Oh so you haven't even began to prepare the dish?" then the chef gives me a dish and he's like "Here you go take this" and when I look at it, it wasn't even the dish I ordered so I return it and I ask for my money back stating that I didn't want to eat there anymore because I wasn't going to wait another 30 minutes for them to START preparing the dish. At that point they started looking at each other not knowing what to do, and the woman got unnecessarily mad and rude about it then she even tried to return less money back than what I paid claiming that I paid the price of another cheaper dish which doesn't make sense whatsoever and considering I even had the change she had given me and when I explained that, she was basically throwing me the money to just leave and when I was returning the change, she was like "We don't need anything from you" so I just left the change on the counter and left. Not only did no one apologize once, even though it was clearly their mistake, but I was even met with rudeness and disrespect. Just horrible customer service and it's not like their food is that special anyways considering there are 100 other places within the vicinity that do the exact same thing. Never...
Read moreFirst Visit: There are a few good things about this place and a few things that I didn't like. Good: The menu is diverse. There are lots of food items, and surprisingly, Kebbe Niye (Raw meat) is hard to find anywhere else in Berlin. Not so good: The prices are on the higher side, particularly for the side dishes. One has to pay extra for bread and spicy sauce. Also, I noticed that the Kibbeh was already fried and then fried again, so it was pretty oily and bland. They could keep raw ones there and fry fresh. I will go a couple more times to see how the manakish are and...
Read moreAfter years in Berlin searching and eating bad Döners and schawarmas that pretend to be original but actually came out of the same cheap factory. This one guys, is not! They are butchers, they cut and prepare and marinade and make the huge piece of meat. A process that take hours. I can only appreciate. We took the chicken and also the beef. With parsley onions and tahini, tasted just like in the Middle East. Missing one star because it was small portion. Definitely we...
