If you're looking for a true feast of Greek flavours in Berlin, this restaurant is absolutely a must visit!

Delicious food, fresh ingredients and authentic flavours that transport you straight to the Greek island. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is really warm and cozy. I highly recommend the souvlaki, spanakopita and gyros, oh and I really enjoyed fassolosalata (btw. tzatziki with bread is my love).

Seit Jahren gehört das Restaurant Kalogria zu Tegel, wie sein See. Und die Qualität war und ist gut. Daran besteht kein Zweifel.

Doch am diesem Tag bestätigte sich, wie sehr schlechter und unfreundlicher Service den Restaurantbesuch negativ beeinflussen kann:

Wir waren zu dritt, ich bestellte Lamm mit Nudelreis. Geschmacklich gut, aber vier kleine Ministückchen und ne Kelle Nudelreis samt kleinem Klecks Tzatziki waren mir für 22 Euro wirklich sehr wenig. Auf die Frage der Bedienung, ob alles okay war, reagierte ich mit einem "war leider etwas überschaubar" und meine Mitgäste fügten ein "das war gefühlt weniger, wie früher" hinzu.

Die Reaktion der Bedienung war absolut respektlos, ohne jedweder Einsicht und erschreckend laut und abweisend. Das Wechselgeld wurde am Ende auf den Tisch geknallt. Das Schlimme daran ist, dass Freunde von uns fast genau das gleiche erlebten, ein paar Tage zuvor, auch mit genau derselben Person. Zugegebenermaßen war die andere Kollegin sehr nett und zugewandt. Aber das riß es am Ende leider nicht raus.

Da ich selbst Gastronom war, ist ein solches Verhalten für mich weder "normal" noch professionell. Eine ruhig und nett angebrachte Kritik sollte man als Hinweis ernst nehmen.

Einfach schade. Und ich hoffe, der (sehr nette) Chef, den ich seit Jahren kenne, schaut sich das mal...

Visited once and felt like home . Great food and options to order from.

I was also surprised of the Greek eclectic music playing in the restaurant, which made me singing, alongside the selection of Mavrodafne sweet wine which I love.

Service was great all in all, but i give 4 stars only because we had to wait longer than expected.
