Rosengarten — Restaurant in Berlin

Today, I visited a restaurant and was quite satisfied with the quality of the food, though there were a few drawbacks. I'll start with the main highlight: the duck in curry sauce was simply excellent — juicy, flavorful, with a perfectly balanced taste. The salmon tartare impressed with its original presentation and was very tasty. I also enjoyed the salmon salad, which was fresh and well-prepared.

I would like to highlight the waiter, who spoke fluent German, this is a big plus especially when visiting Chinese restaurant. However, the service had some small negative sides. We were given too little attention — no one asked if we enjoyed the food or offered anything additional. I wanted to order a second beer, but the waiter never came back. Most likely, the issue was that he was the only one serving the entire establishment.

The service was unfriendly and extremely slow, we had to bring a high chair outside to the patio ourselves, we were brought a wrong starter without any apology, the rest of the food came extremely late and was of a really poor quality - the kung pao chicken was watery, rubbery and over salted and we had to ask for the food for our child repeatedly while the guests at the table next to ours were already being served even though they had ordered after us. Das Essen im Rosengarten kann man wirklich nur mit excellent bewerten. Die Speisen auf dem Teller sahen sogar genauso aus, wie es die sehr umfangreiche und toll bebildete Karte zeigt. Und dann der Geschmack, leicht, die Ente saftig, das Gemüse knackig. Die Soßen waren allesamt nicht geleeartig, sondern einfach nur gut, toll, excellent Die hausgemachte Suppe hat mich auf zwei Wegen aufgewärmt - sie war heiß und schön scharf - nicht zu scharf.

Und der milde Rosenschnaps mit 52% - tja, der hat was und gehört zu einem gelungen Abschluß.

Und was mich auch sehr positiv überrascht hat , war, das ich keinen Nachdurst vom Essen hatte, den ich sonst nach Besuchen in chinesischen Restaurants habe.

Ich komme definitv wieder und empfehle Euch weiter. Macht weiter so.

Nach gut 2 Jahren bin ich wieder mal in Berlin und war wieder Gast im Rosengarten - und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Diesesmal habe ich mich beraten lassen und mir Leckereien servieren lassen, die ich selbst nicht bestellt hätte. Und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Leute probiert mal das Sushi mit Lachs und/oder Thunfisch, es war einfach klasse. Und auch nach 2 Jahren kann ich wieder schreiben: Leute vom Rosengarten, sowie vom Schwesternrestaurant "Meet You" - MACHT...
