My first and probably last time there wasn’t very pleasant. Not enough staff. When I asked for a particular beer, the bartender misunderstood me came back, I repeated my order, his response was “ Who told you we had that, where did you see that” He then proceeds to quickly rattle off the beers they have, in no particular order, then points to a QR I’m suppose to scan to get the list of beers. It didn’t work. A patron in the bar pointed me to the beer menu on the wall, that was not in an obvious place, I ordered a pizza which was mediocre at best. As was the craft beer. Halfway through, a waiter came out and asked me for the pizza board it was on because apparently they had run out. This place reminds me a one of places that tries to be hip with the “ in crowd “ in Berlin. It was probably a nice place when it opened, but it’s a swing and a miss. Hipster chic is no longer in vogue. Scrap what you are looking doing and...

When I finally got to Berlin, we headed straight there from the airport to get a drink. The prices are amazing and the atmosphere is very welcoming. No extras, just great conversation and a great selection of beer. Their home brews were fantastic. Mike was there as well as two waitresses who were just as friendly and helpful. They have snacks if your looking for munchies, but If you want dinner, there’s a resturant next door that serves fantastic traditional German food. It was such a great experience for our first bar in the city - and they didn’t make me feel like a tourist, but a long time regular.

I recommend Two Fellas to locals and tourists looking for a great beer selection, great prices and new friends.

Thanks for...

Hesitated going here because of the long trek from Steglitz, but in the end, I made the right call to go. The IPA was really delicious. Something different from the standard IPAs you get from local breweries. The best part is their happy hour which is a rare find in Berlin. I hadn't planned on eating, but the pizza was also very delicious - again something that doesn't usually go hand in hand in Berlin, good food and beer. They also do decent cocktails for those people who aren't beer fanatics. Finally, the staff are very friendly. I definitely felt welcomed and appreciated as a customer.

A pricey but chill place, did some beer tasting here (you can find discount coupons for that online) and the two brothers explain to you everything about their beer and its origins. Not suited for dinner as there's no food but it's great as a get-together venue and it attracts a very hipster crowd. It usually gets pretty crowded after 8pm so better make a reservation if you're planning a visit. They also organize quiz battles twice a month.

When we moved to Pankow, this quickly became our living room (since we haven't had any furniture yet) and our balcony (cozy beergarden). It's a great place to sit in the evening, have a chat at the bar or listen to live music when there's a band playing. The beers are excellent and the pizzas are huge. Only nice people here, especially the brewers and the girls and boys behind the bar.
