Milk tea with tapioca has become my 2023 obsession. I’m trying all the Berlin places and the reviews for this place enticed me to stop by. I enjoyed the texture of the tapioca pearls here a lot and the service was friendly. The environment of the shop was also nice and conveniently located by hermannplatz. I also loved that it’s possible to get a smaller size (unlike my favorite bubble tea place, tudo).

I took two stars off for the following reasons: I sadly have to agree with other reviewers that I felt the milk tea was somewhat watered down and lacking in flavor (though I will note I ordered the “less sweet” option). The sheer amount of plastic involved hurt my heart. Yes it is beautiful, the branding is cute, and the cup is nice to hold but im not willing to accept such bulky plastic for my bubble tea addiction, it’s just too much and not practical for re-use.

I would gladly try this place again to test the normal sweetness milk tea with a reusable cup or if there were more eco-friendly packaging...

War das erste Mal dort und wurde ziemlich enttäuscht. Eigentlich habe ich mich auf einen tollen Laden mit super viel Auswahl gefreut. Freunde von mir haben viel positives über den Laden erzählt und mich daraufhin mit eingeladen.

Die Auswahl war mir persönlich sehr Mau, es war nicht wirklich was für mich dabei und so musste ich mich auf persönliche Empfehlungen meiner Freunde verlassen.

Der Bubble Tea hat einfach nach nichts geschmeckt und hatte einen extrems bitteren Nachgeschmack und somit musste ich es nach dem Aufenthalt im Laden wegkippen, da es auch meinen Freunden nicht ansatzweise geschmeckt hatte.

Meine Freundin hatte noch vor Ort eine Magenverstimmung und Durchfall bekommen, nachdem Sie die Hälfte ihres Bubble Teas getrunken hatte.

Zu kritisieren ist auch der Laden…

Die Einrichtung ist auf dem ersten Blick sehr hübsch und elegant und ein wenig im japanischen Stil eingerichtet worden. Ich mag diese Art von Einrichtung, nicht zu viel und voll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Verkäuferin an der Theke hatte einen guten Musik Geschmack.

Beim genaueren Betrachten, sieht der Laden ziemlich vernachlässigt aus. An der Linken Sitzbank am Fenster (links Richtung Ausgang) standen Bierflaschen auf den Bänken und an der einen Wand waren noch Bruchstücke von Haken die wahrscheinlich mal eine Leinwand gehalten haben. Die Wände, insbesondere die weißen, sahen schrecklich aus. Überall Schmutzspuren von Schuhsohlen und anderen Schmutzflecken.

Die Sitzbänke an den Fenstern sahen nicht besser aus. Überall an den unteren Kanten waren ganze Häufchen von toten Brummern und Wespen die bereits von Staub bedeckt waren.

Am schlimmsten waren die Toiletten. Der Raum an sich ist groß und man stößt sich nicht gleich beim umdrehen seine Gelenke, jedoch war das Klo an sich sehr eklig und Schmutzig und wenn man nicht so dringend gemusst hätte, wäre der eine oder andere sofort wieder rausgegangen.

Das Waschbecken sah auch aus, als wenn sich dort wer übergeben hätte. Der Wasserhahn hat zum Teil nicht einmal funktioniert und wenn man ihn doch irgendwie zum laufen gebracht hatte, war nichts zum abtrocknen da, außer dem Toilettenpapier.

Der Laden war definitiv nicht das, was meine Freunde in Erinnerung hatten und so hoffe ich, dass man sich die Kritik zu Herzen nimmt und versucht das angesprochene zu überprüfen ggf. zu reparieren/zu säubern.

Ich bin extra anderthalb Stunden dorthin gefahren und es war leider eine sehr enttäuschende Sache.

Gerne würden meine Freunde und ich diesem Laden eine zweite Chance geben und wieder kommen, jedoch nicht, wenn der Laden in dem Zustand bleibt, wie wir ihn aufgefunden haben.

I’ve been coming here for the past year and love the staff. Super friendly and knowledgable with their recommendations and open to helping adjust to your preferences.

The plastic cups that they come in are nice and you can reuse them or even return them to be recycled for a small discount. You can also bring your own cup if the plastic cups are an issue for you, which is always a good option for those more eco-conscious.

I actually forgot my bag at the shop today and they held it for me until I came back. This is super rare in this neighbourhood, as I’ve had this happen before and the bag was stolen by passersby or the staff themselves.
