I could only rate the service because it was extremely terrible. I came in as one person for lunch and they would not seat me. Actually they tried to seat me at a table for four and I would be the fourth person they kept on sitting people after me that were two persons. I finally asked and they said no we won’t seat you. I was amazed. I am from New York City, where they certainly can be abrupt and are all about bringing people in and out and turnover. But I didn’t expect this in Berlin. I’ve been here for two months and this is the first time this has happened. Just terrible, terrible...

Partiamo dal presupposto che il cibo era buonissimo è qualitativamente molto alto. Presentato ad hoc, delicato a partire dalle salsine che spesso sono eccessive.

Insomma da questo punto di vista davvero nulla da dire, tutto davvero bilanciato e anche il locale molto carino e accogliente ti fa sentire a tuo agio.

C’è però poi il servizio… una sola ragazza che fin da subito ha messo agitazione e stress per colpa della sua frenesia. Locale semivuoto, orario di pranzo di domenica, perché pressarci per ordinare? Per noi era un momento tranquillo di relax, stavamo scegliendo cosa prendere nel vasto menù, ci ha chiesto 3 volte in 3 min se eravamo pronti. Idem per il cibo dopo averlo ordinato, più volte mangiavamo, ha provato a levarci come se fosse/avessimo finito.

Il momento assurdo/clou arriva alla fine: chiedo il conto, tutto insieme (minimo sforzo massima resa) voglio pagare con carta e già al tavolo mi chiede “bar, bar?” (Contante)… io dico no, carta… mi chiede di seguirla vado alla cassa e chiede nuovamente contanti. Mentre scrive il prezzo sul pos, chiede per la terza volta: contanti? NO. E dulcis in fundo ha battuto la mano sul pos come se volesse richiedere una “tip” che di certo non meritava.

The dish (66 C) was pretty small compared to the price. The food came pretty quickly, but the vegan crispy chicken was not very crispy, which made me think that they should have spent a bit more time on it.
