Ah, what a privilege it was to experience this temple of Berlin hospitality! From the moment we arrived, we were treated to an exquisite waiting time—so long, in fact, that we started wondering if we had accidentally walked into a time dilation experiment.

The concept is simple: if you’re young, speak English, and aren’t a local, you get the VIP treatment (Very Ignored Person). We relished every glorious minute of being overlooked, watching in awe as the staff moved with the enthusiasm of people who had long given up on life.

The highlight? When, in a moment of wild optimism, we tried to order one more drink while paying. What a mistake! “No, it’s too late, you won’t pay more.” Ah, of course! A truly revolutionary business model—refusing to sell to willing customers. I assume this was their subtle way of reminding us that we weren’t welcome in the first place.

The cashier treated us (a group of about 30 people) with disrespect, talking to us in German, even though she knew English and we were talking to her in English. She asked us to leave since 2 out of the 30 people were not drinking but playing darts and pool (for money) saying "you are Italian, why don't you go to an Italian pizzeria or something like that" in English (we spent about 10 minutes for ordering a couple of beers, since she was talking JUST GERMAN to us until then).
