You can be rest assured of the quality and taste of the food at reasonable prices here. We are kinda regulars here and our normal order consists of grilled items. So, one skewer each of chicken seekh kabab, mushroom (these are out of the world), chicken wings, chicken cubes. Sometimes a skewer of big chilli (most of the times non-spicy ones;)) All super tasty. Make sure to tell them not to make it too tangy, which happens sometimes with vegetarian skewers. These mixed skewer option are not on the menu and are available for you to choose at the grill counter right at the end of the restaurant. All items are accompanied with fresh salad. Their Linsen (Dal) soup and chicken biryani is again super awesome!
Big tandoori roti's with yoghurt and a red tangy/spicy sauce, are on the house, absolutely no limit to how much you eat... they simply refill. This is the case with most of the Turkish restaurants here. At the end of your meal, they offer you Turkish tea (again on the house). It's a great mouth cleanser after all that food and I feel it's kinda good digestive.
The joint has dim lighting and Turkish music keeps playing in the background. The owner and staff are warm and friendly. A must try...
Read moreAmazing experience in every way! The grill was absolutely perfect – fresh, flavorful, and straight out of a food paradise. The appetizers were mind-blowing, especially the hummus and tabbouleh, and the large Ayran was the ultimate cherry on top of this heavenly meal! The service was impeccable, the atmosphere warm and welcoming, and every detail was spot on. Honestly, anyone who gave this place a bad review either doesn’t know real food or was just having a terrible day because this restaurant deserves nothing less than perfection and more!
Special shoutout to the owner, Mr. Salah Al-Jaafari, who is truly the soul of this place. His generosity, warm smile, and passion for hospitality made us feel at home from the moment we stepped in. You can tell he puts his heart into every detail – from the food to the ambiance – making it a place that feels both authentic and extraordinary. If you’re looking for a dining experience that combines outstanding flavors with unmatched hospitality, this is the spot. Bravo, Mr. Salah, and thank you for such a...
Read moreThis is one of the best and most authentic Middle Eastern restaurants in Europe I’ve been to in recent years. Their hummus is wonderful and as close as it gets to the original (and I’m very picky with hummus, since I’d lived in the Middle East for some years and know what great hummus should taste like!). Shawarma is great also, and so are the incredibly generous salad/side dishes. I ordered one of the Shawarma plates and it came with a huge portion of delicious flat bread, reminiscent of Indian Naan bread. Everything you see in my photos (including the Ayran) was €11.50, which is quite amazing consider the gigantic portion size and great quality of food. Everything tastes very fresh. The service was very fast and the people who work there are really nice and polite. I highly recommend this place. I actually accidentally stumbled upon it, trying to decide between two other restaurants in the area, but the smell that came out through the doors was so delicious, that I decided to go in and try it - I’m...
