OSCAR in Bad Godesberg — Restaurant in Bonn

Good day to all. Would like to leave my comment here. I was going to the restrant mostly every day, as I really like the food there and it was close to my house. But the service was just awful, the way how they treat people its abnormal, never in my life i see such serveice liek they hate people. The manager of restraunt was so rude with me just becasue i asked normal table not near entrence, she refused, when i asked the phone of her boss to escalate the issue she told that her boss has other things to do, than to communicate with clients - bravo)) best answer ever, and it shows how they treat their clients. I didnt go there 2 weeks & desided give another try, maybe this woman just hate all women in the world, i decided just ignore her, but there was guy, who just strat screaming on me when i aske d the dish from their menu which i ate there 5 times, as I dont speak german & they couldnt offer me English menu, I asked for the help from the waitor, but the guy was sooo rude and angry and even didnt apologies, he just sent to me another waitor with the dish that i ordered. Of course i will never go to this place again, I didnt ask anything that was not concern the restraunt, but the way they treat their clients really awfull & not acceptable. Its very pity that the owner of this place dosnt care about this & dosnt listen to his clients. But the meal...

Seriously disappointed. I have done a few restaurants in Bonn and the surrounding areas and had good experiences (but Oscar was not one of them). First the restaurant didn't have any options for kids... The waiter suggested fries, that's it! Then, when I ordered a 20$ burger and asked for ketchup, they asked me to pay extra! I would understand in a small french fries place, but in a restaurant of this level I found that a little shocking. We were 6 people and all ordered drinks, starters and mains... The burger I ate, with "truffle", was a downer. While the meat and burger bread were great the sauce was overly greasy and sweet, it left me queasy. Finally, the service was just ok. Waiters just came to take our orders, no real enthusiasm, and it took forever...

In conclusion, Oscar is an overpriced restaurant, with ok service. The food is meh. I cannot recommend, Bonn has much...

Very bad service. I ordered online and asked it to have it delivered within 1.5 hours. They had 1.5 hours to prepare and deliver the food I ordered, which was two burgers. Two hours later, the food still hasn't arrived. I call to follow up on our order and they say it's on its way. But then a few minutes later I get a notification that our order was cancelled. I call again to ask why our order was cancelled, and they say it's not their problem because they had already prepared the food and had given it to the delivery guy, and that I should contact the delivery service (Lieferando). No concern or apology whatsoever. It seems they don't care whether or not their customers get their food. Never...
