Bollyfood Vegetarisch Bremen — Restaurant in Bremen

Yesterday we ordered food from their website and paid via paypal!

After 20 minutes we get a call from the owner asking us to again transfer the money via paypal! I had to send him screenshot as a proof!

Then I told him I have paid and his response on call: “you want food for free?” And banged phone on my face!

I called him again and asked when will be the delivery and he said it is “pickup”. I realized that I chose wrong option. He again banged the phone before I could say” it was my mistake please deliver and will pay the extra cost”

Cold him fourth time to say please deliver and will pay driver extra cost. He again banged the phone on my face saying “you want food for free”.

Fifth time he called me and said “You don’t know your address and banged the phone”

This owner is so rude, uncultured, ill mannered, unfriendly, impolite that when I went and explained the whole thing during pick up he said “yes yes no go” and walked off, sat on a chair crossed legs!

This is not Indian tradition nor his food is authentic! The dosas are so soft and not at all crunchy!

Never order north indian dishes or sabjis as they are not at all of good taste!

Sheer mental harassment and unpleasant experience!

[OLD REVIEW] The only restaurant I have found in Bremen that serves 100% vegetarian authentic South Indian food.

[EDIT] Horrendous service! I called them at 20:37 to make a home delivery order (as I also had some additional questions about the food). They (owner/waiter/manager) replied saying all drivers had left, and delivery was not possible anymore. All I said then was that their website mentions that "Lieferung" or home deliveries are available until 21:00. The guy straight-up started yelling at me! I calmly asked him not to speak angrily to a customer. Some more rude words from him, a sarcastic "Thank you", and then he hung up on me!

This is not the first time they've refused home deliveries due to unavailability of staff. They've also messed up orders in the past. This is also not the first time they've been rude to me or other customers. For the prices they charge, they provide neither service nor hygiene conditions at their restaurant. Word of mouth says that the staff worked for Saravana Bhavan in Hamburg, which closed down due to legal issues. I am still suspicious. Bottom line, they just lost a regular customer, all my acquaintances, and hopefully everyone who reads this review!

Unprofessional behaviour on asking a question!

I have ordered many times from Bollyfood (through Lieferando) and I wanted to do the same today. I asked a question (which I assume restaurant is supposed to answer and not Lieferando) on the chat option in google and attached is the screenshot of the response I received. I wonder what is the attitude about!?

Me - From what you have written it seems you don’t understand. Also, last I checked you are from India, and it seems you don’t know any of the official languages of your own country. I am sure you learned German here after a decade?! Also, please request German government to employ you so that you can make decisions or atleast suggestions as to who should stay in Germany and who shouldn’t.
