Fisch 2000 — Restaurant in Bremerhaven

Fresh fish, but that's all I can say about it. Unfortunately, overly salted dish with fries. Also questionable service - I got the one with the bad attitude. The other three seemed nice and ready to help (when serving subsequent customers). Mine acted like I were wasting her time. When asked, she had nothing to recommend, which was not very encouraging. Basically my interaction with her reminded me of an episode of Seinfeld iykyk, except that I was the only customer there (no it was not busy). The only moment of friendliness was when I was paying (another person was in charge of the till). Angry woman screamed at us to get out as we didn't see the sign they had indoors until we were inside. Outside in the window they said up to 24 people, on their new sign the said 8. My wife ordered, asking what fish was the one most common in english fish and chips. The same angry woman told her it was Lachs. We later found out after she'd started cooking them that Lachs is salmon. Battered Salmon is an abonimation. As someone who has been eating fish bread since my childhood across northern Germany I was intrigued by this place based on previous reviews. Unfortunately, the service was very impolite which wasn’t a good starting point which I understand has to do with the lack of personal. As for the fish bread itself, the bun was cold and chewy and the fish was way too salty.
