Visited twice during the week to have the homemade lasagna for 10.80€. It was delicious! The portion is perfect, not too less but not too much either. The pasta seemed to be melting in my mouth. Very recommended! They offered various coffee creation. I tried Maria Theresa and it nice and pretty. The restaurant has about 6 parking place for car on the front. And plenty for bikes on the front and on the back of the place. It has beautiful view to the lake, even if we sit inside near the window. The inside is nicely decorated. The owner and the waitress are all so friendly. However, the restaurant is only open from 11 until the sunset, without a regular closing hour. So, make sure to give yourself enough time to enjoy the food here.

Etwas versteckt und daher entfernt vom "Sehen und gesehen werden" ist das Rene's Café ein kleines Einod, im besten Sinne. Es gibt eine kleine, obere Terrasse und die Treppe runter, eine etwas größere Terrasse (vielleicht gerade 9 Tische?). Massen sucht man hier vergeblich und das macht René's Café, am oft so stark fbesuchtem Chiemsee so besonders. Eher still und gediegen als laut und aufgesetzt, schmeckt der Kaffee und Kuchen (siehe die ersten beiden Seiten der Speisekarte) wirklich ausgezeichnet. Ja, der Blick auf den Chiemsee ist kein 180Grad Blick aber trotzdem ist dieses Café sehr empfehlenswert. Vielleicht oder gerade auch bei schlechtem Wetter denn das Innere besitzt großen Flair! 🤗

Ein sehr gemütliches Café. So richtig zum Wohlfühlen! Der offene Kamin, in dem das Holz brannte, war da noch das Tüpfelchen auf dem i. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, die Auswahl Gerichte zur Mittagszeit für ein Café wirklich sehr gut! Und dann habe ich am Nebentisch eine Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte gesehen. Die sah fantastisch gut und gefährlich aus 😄. War wohl auch so, wie mir die Dame an dem Tisch bestätigte. Ich würde volle fünf Sterne vergeben, wenn nicht der kleine Hund durch den Gastraum und scheinbar auch durch die Küche laufen würde. Er ist ja wirklich süß und beliebt bei den Gästen, gehört aber meiner Meinung nicht in ein Lokal. Ich komme aber trotzdem gerne wieder.

They offered various coffee creation. I tried Maria Theresa and it nice and pretty.
